Shyla and Justin are getting married in June of 2010. We did their engagement session at the Albuquerque Academy and Elena Gallegos. The brought along their little doggies for some pictures. It was really cool to see how Justin this big strong fire fighter was really sweet and gentle with these little dogs. After we did some photos at the Academy we went up to the foothills to get some sunset photos. Enjoy!

A few weeks ago I met the Gonzales family at Elena Gallegos for a family photo session. When I first arrived it was not looking good. I could the rain coming down to the north of us, and as we first headed out a couple of rain drops were taunting us. Somehow we got lucky and it never rained. It stayed perfectly cloudy, and we were able to take photos where ever we wanted. I love doing family sessions! So please feel free to call anytime if you are interested in one!

Monica is an awesome senior at the Albuquerque Academy. We went to her school to do her senior pics. I had a great time working her and her mom. Monica has a really cool guitar and she pretty darn good at it. I hope you enjoy them!

I have to preface this by mentioning that this was the first wedding I shot with my refurbished Nikon d700. A couple of weeks prior to this wedding my family and I were up at a cabin in the Brazos near Chama. To make a long story short I dropped my camera into the Brazos river. So I bought a new one and sent the wet camera off to Nikon to be fixed. Shooting with these two cameras at once is a dream. So back to the wedding.
Mikalea and Jeremy held their ceremony at the Hotel Albuquerque. Before the ceremony the bridal party hung out in the fireplace room, which has gorgeous natural. Mikaela and Jeremy are friends of my former bride and groom Beth and Scott. So everyone was really comfortable around me. The ceremony was held at the pavilions outside. The reception was held at Ladera Golf course. It was great seeing how Jeremy was was totally smitten with Mikaela all night. Thanks for having me!
